I spent years taking supplements that didn't work. Not because the ingredients don't work — plenty of ingredients do — but because the bottles I was buying contained fractional doses of the things the label made a big deal about. 5% of a clinically studied dose of ashwagandha. Collagen without the bioactive peptide that actually survives digestion. A B-complex with synthetic folic acid that my body can't use. Big labels. Celebrity endorsements. Nothing inside.
The worst part was that I couldn't tell, from reading the bottle, which products were real and which were theater. Proprietary blends hid the actual amounts. Third-party testing was claimed but never shown. Founders posed on the box and the actual formulation was done by whoever the cheapest contract manufacturer was that month.
"If a supplement company won't tell you how much of the active ingredient is in the bottle, the answer is: not enough."
I didn't start Vital because I'm an industry veteran. I started it because I'm the customer this industry has been failing for a decade — and I was done waiting for one of the big brands to do it right. So we built Vital from scratch with three rules no one else seems willing to commit to together:
Rule 1 — Clinical doses. Every ingredient. Every time.
If a study shows 600mg of KSM-66 ashwagandha reduces cortisol, our capsule has 600mg of KSM-66 ashwagandha. Not 150mg in a "stress blend." Not 600mg of some generic ashwagandha root powder that wasn't in the study. The exact extract, at the exact dose, every bottle.
This costs more. It's also the reason the product actually does something.
Rule 2 — Every ingredient disclosed on the label.
No "proprietary blends." No "stress support matrix." You should be able to read the supplement facts panel and know exactly what you're getting and how much, down to the milligram. If a competitor calls that a "trade secret," what they mean is they don't want you to know they're under-dosing.
Rule 3 — Third-party lab results published for every batch.
Every Vital batch is tested by ISO 17025 accredited labs for identity, potency, heavy metals, and microbials. The actual Certificate of Analysis for the batch sitting on your shelf is downloadable from the product page. You don't have to trust us — you can read the lab report.
Why "Premium Wellness" isn't just marketing
We use the word premium with a specific meaning. It doesn't mean the packaging has a gold foil. It means we pay for the branded, patented, clinically studied forms of ingredients — Verisol® collagen peptides, KSM-66® ashwagandha, Creapure® creatine, Cognizin® citicoline — instead of the generic commodity versions. It means we pay for the labs. It means we pay for the guarantee that lets you try the product for 60 days and send it back if it doesn't work for you.
What premium doesn't mean: $79 for a tub of green powder. Our Daily Greens is $39.99 and has more clinical ingredients at higher doses than the brand charging twice as much. Premium is about what's in the bottle, not the sticker on it.
The comparison we hope you make
Don't take our word for it. Read the supplement facts on your current bottle. Google the ingredient + "clinical dose." Compare. The reason we publish every dose, every source, and every lab result is because we know what happens when people actually compare: the products they're currently paying for stop looking like deals.
That's not a sales pitch. That's why Vital exists.
Try the comparison yourself.
